BILLER (FT)
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE BILLING ON UB04/1500 FORMS WITH KNOWLEDGE OF ALL FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS AND SOME KNOWLEDGE OF CPT CODES, ETC.  5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WOULD BE A PLUS FOR THIS POSITION ALONG WITH GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF BUSINESS OFFICE PROCEDURES.  HOURS: 8 – 4:30 (MONDAY – FRIDAY)

NURSE PRACTITIONER (FT) – URGENT CARE PALESTINE (NEW FACILITY)
The primary purpose will be to provide direct high quality outpatient care in a stand alone clinic. Along with the assistance of a small support staff, the NP responsibilities will include: triage, conducting comprehensive assessments, and assisting with patient referrals as necessary. He/She will perform procedures, prescribe treatment, and sign prescriptions in accordance with institution and state requirements.  The NP will act under the authority and supervision of the attending physician and in accordance with all regulations, hospital policy, protocols and clinical pathways. Must hold a current Texas Advanced Practice Nursing Licensure, current BLS, as well as a current ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days. 

STAFF NURSE RN (FT) – URGENT CARE PALESTINE (NEW FACILITY)
Overall responsibility for the patient care services delivered to patients in the assigned areas.  Assists in the development and monitoring of the departmental supply and medication ordering and budget.  This position also has responsibility for leading hospital compliance with safety and disaster preparedness.  Minimum of two years of acute care experience required.  Minimum of two years clinical experience in orthopedic care required.  RN required in the State of Texas, ACLS current or obtains within 90 days of hire, and ATLS preferred.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT/ADMISSIONS (FT) – URGENT CARE PALESTINE (NEW)
This position is responsible for administrative tasks as well as clinical duties.  The administrative tasks include filling out insurance information, updating patients’ records, setting up laboratory tests and handling patient admission.  This duty is performed daily.  A medical assistant’s clinical duties include taking patients’ medical history, preparing each patient for exams, checking vital signs, informing patients of treatment procedures and occasionally performing lab tests. Minimum of one year related experience in a healthcare facility. Hours of operations for new facility will be 7am – 7pm M-F and 8am – 6pm on Saturdays.

ASSISTANT CHIEF NURSING OFFICER (FT) - MAIN
The Assistant Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for management of the organizational quality program and leadership of the In-Patient (med-surg) unit and ER.  The position reports to the CNO and works closely with the medical staff leadership, credentialing and safety departments. Strong experience in performance improvement, regulatory compliance and nursing department management is required.

HIM TECH II (FT) - HIM
Responsible for scanning all non-electronic medical records into the hospital information system.  Assists with assembly and analysis of Pain Management, Outpatient, Observation and Inpatient charts.  Responsible for making medical record folders and labels for charts.  Responsible for hospital and out-lying facilities of Texas Spine and Joint Hospital deposits from the Business Office to include insurance checks, cash payments, etc.  Assist with faxing, filing, locating, pulling, assembly and chart analysis for all types of medical records.  Will also assist with chart deficiencies. 

SURGICAL TECH (PT) MAIN HOSPITAL
Work in a state of the art facility.  Experience and certification required.  PT position will be for days. 

SURGICAL TECH (FT) - OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER
Great salary and working conditions.   No weekends, no call and no Holidays.  Certification required.  Minimum 2 years recent scrub experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center.

ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVE (FT)
Full time position in our fast paced Admitting Department.  Hours are 8:45AM to 5:45 PM.  Primary duties are admitting patients which include gathering patient and insurance data and entering into our computer system as well as discussing finances with the patient and collecting fees. May include insurance and authorization verification prior to patient’s arrival. He/She will cover the Reception desk and the PBX as needed greeting patients and answering all incoming phone calls. Requires excellent computer and customer service skills and be able to multitask under pressure. This candidate must have a professional appearance, be friendly and have a great phone voice and communication skills. One year previous healthcare admitting experience required.

HOUSEKEEPER (PRN) – OUTPATIENT SURGICAL CENTER
Perform environmental service duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition. The housekeeper will also perform according to the established procedures for standard terminal cleaning of the surgery department following the completion of all surgeries for that day.  Housekeeping experience required, prefer experience in a hospital setting.   No weekends or holidays.  Evening hours from 6pm - 11:30pm.

ULTRASOUND TECH (PRN) – RADIOLOGY
Must have RVT registry or CRT.

STAFF NURSE (PRN) – PRE-POST OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER
Monday-Friday position with no call, no weekends, and no holidays. The position encompasses stage 1 and stage2 recovery as well as discharge of post-operative and post procedure patients. Qualifications: current Texas license; previous PACU, CCU or ASC experience; Current ACLS or obtain ACLS within 6 months of employment.

STAFF NURSE (PRN) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER
Progressive Outpatient Surgical Unit utilizing the shared governess model has an opening for a PRN Operating Room RN. This position offers NO weekends, NO holidays, NO evenings/nights, and NO call. Qualified applicants must have a current Texas license as well as current Operating Room experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center setting.
