TYLER, TX ( March 21, 2012) Texas Spine & Joint Hospital was named a 2011 Summit Award winner by Press Ganey Associates Inc., which partners with more than 10,000 health care facilities, including 50 percent of all U.S. hospitals, to measure and improve quality of care. The Summit Award recognizes top-performing facilities that sustain the highest level of core measure performance for three consecutive years, according to a press release.
The Press Ganey Summit Award is the health care performance improvement industry’s most coveted symbol of achievement bestowed annually. Texas Spine & Joint Hospital is one of 98 organizations to receive this prestigious honor in 2011. This award is given only to those hospitals whose patient satisfaction scores stay in the 95th percentile of all participating hospitals for three consecutive years. Participation in the Press Ganey program means that patients of Texas Spine & Joint Hospital are surveyed after discharge in a variety of areas related to their stay. Information is compiled from those who respond and measured against the performance of organizations of similar size.

Texas Spine & Joint Hospital is a privately owned hospital specializing in orthopedic and spine surgery, procedures, and tests.
