Jerry Schwarzbach, M.D. specializes in physical medicine, rehabilitation and interventional spine proceduret syndrome, electrodiagnostic studies, characteristics, pathogenesis and management of myofascial pain.

Degrees and Education
Dr. Schwarzbach received his medical degree (M.D.) in 1987 from Baylor College of Medicine. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas in 1983. Dr. Schwarzbach completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania from 1988 – 1991. He interned at the Louisiana State University Medical Center from 1987 – 1988.

Awards and Appointments
Jerry Schwarzbach, M.D. is a fellow if the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Schwarzbach received the Baylor Trustee Scholarship from 1985 – 1986. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Eat Sigma. He is the Chairman of the Outstanding Teacher Award Committee, Austin, Texas. Dr. Schwarzbach received the Geological Sciences Scholarship from 1979 – 1983. He was awarded the Chauvin Memorial Premedical Scholarship in 1983. In 1982 he got the Robert A. Welch Undergraduate fellowship 1982. Dr. Schwarzbach was initiated into Cactus Goodfellow and the Arno Nowotny Society in 1983. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Association of the Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the Smith County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association.
