HEALTHCARE INFORMATIC ANALYST (FT) – IT

The Healthcare Informatic Analyst is responsible for compiling and analyzing data.  The employee will have a technical background in data analytics as well as experience in the healthcare setting with a keen attention to detail.  In addition to data analytics, the analyst will be responsible for the charge master.  The ability to work independently and proactively to provide accurate and timely information to management for decision making is a must.  REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information services, or related fields; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.  Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.  A team player who is highly collaborative and detail oriented.  Ability to interact with business users of all levels and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.  Experience in database and programming.  In-depth knowledge in the Structured Query Language (SQL).  Experience in report development. Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.  Balance creativity and innovation against practical and cost effective approaches.  Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to present technical and business solutions concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences from a business perspective.  Collaboration and teamwork skills.  The ability to interact successfully with all areas of the organization.

 

EMPLOYEE HEALTH REGISTERED NURSE (FT)

The Employee Health Nurse is part of the Infection Control and quality Improvement program.  He/She is an RN who performs various tasks, including Identifying health risks in the workplace, implementing preventative measures, promoting healthy lifestyles, assessing health statuses, and promoting overall health and well-being.   The specific program duties may vary from year to year, based on at least an annual analysis of the organization’s demographics, a yearly program review including findings from surveys, continuous monitoring of the scientific literature, practice guidelines, accrediting agency standards, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.  The Employee Health RN performs immunizations and clinics, educates new employees during New Employee Orientation, works with leadership to develop infection control plans, and develops strategies to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses.  The Employee Health RN collects data for CMS and performs other duties for the program as needed.  REQUIREMENTS:  An associate’s degree in nursing is required, bachelor’s degree preferred & two years of recent clinical nursing experience is required. Employee Health or Infection prevention experience is a plus. Possessing substantial and advanced knowledge of principles and practices of employee health, vaccine programs, infection prevention and control, epidemiology, infectious diseases, cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and microbiology is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify system vulnerabilities and develop and apply innovative solutions are preferred. Creating a climate that fosters compassionate care, innovation, cooperation, collaboration, and teamwork is required. Being highly adaptable and demonstrating an ability to manage multiple priorities is vital. Computer skills required include proficiency in the following Microsoft Office Applications: OneDrive, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as an ability to function at a high level when adapting to new programs and electronic health record (EHR) processes and applications.  The candidate must have a current State of Texas professional RN nursing licensure.

 

PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (FT)  – DIETARY

Texas Spine & Joint Hospital is looking for the right candidate to provide services that include helping patients make menu selections, assemble, deliver and pick-up their meal trays. You will be part of the caregiving team, responsible for patient safety and satisfaction goals by making sure meals are accurate and delivered at the right time and temperature.  At least 2 years’ experience of Culinary/Serving, especially in a healthcare or institutional setting.  Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.  Basic computer and mathematical skills

 

FRONT OFFICE REPRESENTATIVE (FT) – LONGVIEW CLINIC

The administrative tasks include updating patients’ records, verifying insurance eligibility and handling patient admission and copays.  This duty is performed daily.  Minimum one-year customer service experience in a healthcare facility.  Hours of operations M-F 8am – 5pm.   Position is located in Longview, Texas.

 

FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PA (FT M-F DAY)

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (PA/NP) at Texas Spine & Joint Hospital in Tyler, Texas.  The NP/PA will be working in a clinical setting, the Surgical Preoperative Area (SPA), providing optimization of patients prior to elective surgical procedures.  Strong internal medicine background required.  The PA/NP would have the opportunity, if desired, to also provide post-operative care for inpatients and a low volume emergency room. The PA/NP will act under the authority and supervision of the attending physician and in accordance with all regulations, hospital policy, protocols and clinical pathways.  Must hold a current Texas advance practice nursing license or physician assistant license, current BLS and ACLS certification or the ability to obtain these within 90 days upon hire.  The PA/NP applicant will have a minimum 1-year recent hospital and/or urgent care experience.  Minimum 2-years’ experience preferred.

 

SURGICAL TECH (PRN) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER 

Work in a state of the art facility.  Experience and certification required.  PRN position will be for days.

 

STERILE PROCESSING TECH (SPD TECH) (FT) – MAIN

The sterile processing technician follows guidelines in areas of asepsis, instrumentation, sterilization techniques, record keeping, and inventory control of equipment.  Requires previous experience in a medical facility as a sterile processing tech. Current certification preferred.  If not certified, must obtain certification within 1 year.  Hours Monday – Friday.

 

ATHLETIC TRAINER TRINITY VALLEY (FT) – SPORTS MEDICINE

BSWTSJH is looking for an Athletic Trainer for Trinity Valley Community College.  Individual will be working at a college setting as a staff Athletic Trainer. All BSWTSJH athletic trainers collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, x-ray personal, and therapist.  Staff athletic trainers will be under the supervision of the school Athletic Director or Head Athletic Trainer along with the Director of Sports Medicine for Baylor Scott $ White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital.  Job requirements include care and prevention of athletic injury, rehabilitation, travel with high-risk sports, practice and game coverage, and training room management. This position is dedicated to the school and have minimal outside requirements. If work not related to the school is asked additional compensation will be added for that event.  Salary range between $56,000 – $75,000 depending on experience and degree level: included is health insurance, 401k, CEU allotment, BOC renewal, Texas License reimbursement.
