STERILE PROCESSING TECH (SPD TECH) (FT) – MAIN

The sterile processing technician follows guidelines in areas of asepsis, instrumentation, sterilization techniques, record keeping, and inventory control of equipment.  Requires previous experience in a medical facility as a sterile processing tech. Current certification preferred.  If not certified, must obtain certification within 1 year.  Hours Monday – Friday.

 

PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (FT)

Texas Spine & Joint Hospital is looking for the right candidate to provide services that include helping patients make menu selections, assemble, deliver and pick-up their meal trays. You will be part of the caregiving team, responsible for patient safety and satisfaction goals by making sure meals are accurate and delivered at the right time and temperature.  At least 2 years’ experience of Culinary/Serving, especially in a healthcare or institutional setting.  Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.  Basic computer and mathematical skills.

 

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST (PRN) – MAIN OR 

Looking for a Radiology SPECIALTY Tech-PRN
Exhibit competent age specific skills in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient needs before and during X-ray procedure.  Limited to medium C-Arm knowledge.  Associate degree in Radiologic Technology with ARRT in Radiology and licensed with the State of Texas.  Current CPR certification.  AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF SURGICAL X-RAY TECH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.  Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology. AART Registered and CPR Current. Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations. Must possess independent decision making skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families. Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.

 

STAFF NURSE RN (FT NIGHTS) – POSTOP SURGERY INPATIENT CARE UNIT 

The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. The RN ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. 12 hour shifts.  Self-scheduling. Requirements:  Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. At least 6 months of experience as a RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit. Experience in ortho preferred. RN, current in the State of Texas.  Current ACLS preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.  Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.  Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit. Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

 

ATHLETIC TRAINER TRINITY VALLEY (FT) – SPORTS MEDICINE

BSWTSJH is looking for an Athletic Trainer for Trinity Valley Community College.  Individual will be working at a college setting as a staff Athletic Trainer. All BSWTSJH athletic trainers collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, x-ray personal, and therapist.  Staff athletic trainers will be under the supervision of the school Athletic Director or Head Athletic Trainer along with the Director of Sports Medicine for Baylor Scott $ White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital.  Job requirements include care and prevention of athletic injury, rehabilitation, travel with high-risk sports, practice and game coverage, and training room management. This position is dedicated to the school and have minimal outside requirements. If work not related to the school is asked additional compensation will be added for that event.  Salary range between $56,000 – $75,000 depending on experience and degree level: included is health insurance, 401k, CEU allotment, BOC renewal, Texas License reimbursement.

 

C.N.A. (FT DAYS) –  INPATIENT CARE UNIT

Looking for experienced C.N.A. at Texas Spine and Joint Hospital in Tyler, Texas.  Must have one year of hospital C.N.A. experience and must hold current C.N.A. certification. Requires current BLS or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.  We self schedule with guidelines.  Unit is open 7 days a week/24 hours a day.  Day shift hours are from 6:45 am to 7:00pm.

 

CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH (PRN) – MAIN HOSPITAL

Work in a state of the art facility.  Experience and certification required.  PRN position will be for days.
