C.N.A. (FT) – NIGHTS INPATIENT CARE UNIT

Looking for experienced C.N.A. at Texas Spine and Joint Hospital in Tyler, Texas.  Must have one year of hospital C.N.A. experience and must hold current C.N.A. certification. Requires current BLS or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.  We self schedule with guidelines.  Unit is open 7 days a week/24 hours a day.  Night shift hours are from 6:45 pm to 7:00am.

 

RN (FT) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

Progressive Outpatient Surgical Unit utilizing the shared governance model. Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience in a hospital or multi-specialty ASC required.  No weekends, no call and no holidays.  10-hour days.  Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current RN license to practice in the State of Texas. Current American Heart BLS certification and experience working as an OR RN required. ACLS will be required within 6 months of hire.

 

STAFF NURSE RN DAYS (PART-TIME) –  INPATIENT CARE UNIT 

We are looking for an experienced surgical, med-surg, recovery, and/or pre-post nurse for a part-time position.  Part-time employees are eligible for 401k and paid time off/Holiday benefits.  Current RN licensure in the State of Texas, CPR, and ability to obtain ACLS certification within 6 months of hire required.  Orthopedic experience preferred

MLT/MT (PRN) – LABORATORY

Our laboratory needs to supplement its coverage, and this is a great opportunity to use your skills in our full-service hospital laboratory.  We are Joint Commission accredited, performing testing in chemistry, hematology, transfusion services, coagulation, urinalysis, and limited microbiology. The right candidate for this position must have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and work independently.  This position includes one weekend and one week of call per month.  Phlebotomy experience is required.  Experience with Ortho Vitros and Orchard Harvest is a plus for this candidate.  Must be ASCP certified MLT/MT or equivalent with minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory.  Great PRN rate!

 

STAFF NURSE (PRN) – PACU MAIN HOSPITAL 

Department is open Monday-Friday. The position encompasses stage 1 and stage2 recovery as well as discharge of post-operative and post procedure patients.  Qualifications: current Texas license; previous PACU, CCU or ASC experience; Current ACLS or obtain ACLS within 6 months of employment.

 

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST (FT) – RADIOLOGY/OR/OUTPATIENT SURGERY/PAIN MGMT/URGENT CARE

Looking for a FLOAT Radiology SPECIALTY Tech PRN.  Will work in Pain Management, Outpatient Surgery Center, Main Hospital, and Urgent Care locations which includes Palestine, Longview, and south Broadway.  Exhibit competent age specific skills in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient needs before and during X-ray procedure.  Limited to medium C-Arm knowledge.  Associate degree in Radiologic Technology with ARRT in Radiology and licensed with the State of Texas.  Current CPR certification.  OR experience a plus.

 

NURSE PRACTITIONER or PA (PRN) – PALESTINE URGENT CARE

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner at Texas Spine & Joint Hospital Urgent Care facility Palestine, Texas.  The primary role will be to provide care for orthopedic patients and minor medical situations.  The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will act under the authority and supervision of the Clinic physician and in accordance with all regulations, hospital policy, protocols and clinical pathways.  Must hold a current Texas advance practice nursing license or physician assistant license, current BLS certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days upon hire.  The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner applicant will have recent hospital/urgent care/emergency room experience preferred.  Hours for the Urgent Care are 7 AM to 7 PM Monday – Friday and 8am – 6pm on Saturdays.  The clinic is closed on Sundays and Holidays.  This position will work Monday – Friday regular working hours.

 

PATIENT ACCOUNT COLLECTOR (FT) – BILLING

PATIENT ACCOUNT COLLECTOR is responsible for review, follow-up and collection of payments.  Maintain insurance logs and payer trends.  Hours are from 8-4:30pm or 7:30 – 4pm, (hours are somewhat flexible).  High school diploma or equivalent with one year of healthcare experience required including familiarity with Medicare and insurance regulations.

 

INPATIENT CONCURRENT CODER (FT) – MEDICAL RECORDS

Needed fulltime inpatient concurrent coder, to review and code records daily.   Will need to utilizes advanced knowledge of specialty coding to analyze patient records, ensuring that documentation by providers conforms to legal and procedural requirements and ensuring that any vague or incomplete medical documentation is completed by the physician.   Help avoid retrospective physician coding queries.  This position will work closely with the Case Management Department in identifying the admission diagnosis and additional diagnoses during the patient’s hospitalization. Attends monthly revenue cycle meeting and monitors billing performances to ensure optimal reimbursement.  Minimum of 3 years inpatient coding required, CDI a plus.
