SCHEDULER (FT) – SURGERY MAIN HOSPITAL 

Handles all incoming scheduling calls. Obtains preliminary scheduling information including procedures to be performed and projected length of cases. Adjust operating room schedule as appropriate or indicated. Communicates changes to surgeon’s offices and other as appropriate.  Follow up with scheduling contacts, nursing personnel, physicians and/or others to obtain missing information. Post add-on cases, to operating room schedule as required, and notify appropriate personnel to include business office. Enter post-op data into database including procedures, surgeons starting and ending times, cancellations and other related information.  Multi-tasking and effective communication are key.  At least 1 year of Operating Room Scheduling experience is desired.

 

BUSINESS OFFICE REP – CASHIER (FT)

Daily posting of all payments to each account represented.  Balancing daily to hospital deposits.  Ensure accuracy of data entry by balancing deposit totals to computer batch and daily deposit records.  Screen EOBs, appeal issues, and research.  Requirement for position is a minimum of one year experience in healthcare business office and HS Diploma or GED.

 

STAFF NURSE (PRN) – PAIN MANAGEMENT

We are looking for an experienced RN with a great personality…..If you have PACU and/or PreOp experience, have good multitasking skills, able to work autonomously in a very fast paced specialized area with one on one patient care, send us your resume.  This position will work in Pre/Post Pain with a required 3 days a sign-up .  We work Monday through Thursday, flexible hours (many half-days), no Holidays and no Weekends!  We work in interventional spine treatment with enjoyable co-workers and physicians.

 

RN OPERATING ROOM (PRN) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

Progressive Outpatient Surgical Unit utilizing the shared governess model. Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience in a hospital or multi specialty ASC required.  No weekends, no call and no holidays.  10 hour days. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current RN license to practice in the State of Texas.  Experience working as an OR RN required. ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Current American Heart BLS or ACLS certification and experience working as an OR RN required. ACLS within 6 months of hire.

 

CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH (PRN) – MAIN HOSPITAL

Work in a state of the art facility.  Experience and certification required.  PRN position will be for days.

 

STERILE PROCESSING TECH (SPD TECH) (PRN) – MAIN HOSPITAL 

The sterile processing technician follows guidelines in areas of asepsis, instrumentation, sterilization techniques, record keeping, and inventory control of equipment.  Requires previous experience in a medical facility as a sterile processing tech. Current certification preferred.  If not certified, must obtain certification within 1 year.  PRN hours vary Monday – Friday.

 

FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PA (FT) – MONDAY – FRIDAY

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (PA/NP) at Texas Spine & Joint Hospital in Tyler, Texas.  The NP/PA will be working in a clinical setting, the Surgical Preoperative Area (SPA), providing optimization of patients prior to elective surgical procedures.  Strong internal medicine background required.  The PA/NP would have the opportunity, if desired, to also provide post-operative care for inpatients and a low volume emergency room. The PA/NP will act under the authority and supervision of the attending physician and in accordance with all regulations, hospital policy, protocols and clinical pathways.  Must hold a current Texas advance practice nursing license or physician assistant license, current BLS and ACLS certification or the ability to obtain these within 90 days upon hire.  The PA/NP applicant will have recent hospital and/or urgent care experience preferred.

 

NURSE PRACTITONER/PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT HOSPITALIST (PRN) – MAIN HOSPITAL

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Texas Spine & Joint Hospital in Tyler, Texas. The primary role will be to serve as a hospitalist to provide post-operative care for elective surgical patients, while also supporting a low volume, two bed Emergency Room. The NP/PA will act under the authority and supervision of the attending physician, in accordance with hospital policy and protocols, and within the scope of practice for the provider’s certification. Must hold a current Texas advance practice nursing license or physician assistant license and current ACLS/BLS certification (or ability to obtain these within 90 days of hire).  The NP/PA applicant will have a minimum of 1-year in the practice setting of internal medicine, hospital medicine, or urgent care.

 

ATHLETIC TRAINER BROWNSBORO (FT)  – SPORTS MEDICINE

BSWTSJH is looking for an Athletic Trainer for Brownsboro ISD.  Individual will be working at a high school setting as a staff Athletic Trainer. All BSWTSJH athletic trainers collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, x-ray personal, and therapist.  Staff athletic trainers will be under the supervision of the school Athletic Director or Head Athletic Trainer along with the Director of Sports Medicine for Baylor Scott $ White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital.  Job requirements include care and prevention of athletic injury, rehabilitation, travel with high-risk sports, practice and game coverage, and training room management. This position is dedicated to the school and have minimal outside requirements. If work not related to the school is asked additional compensation will be added for that event.  Salary range between $56,000 – $75,000 depending on experience and degree level: included is health insurance, 401k, CEU allotment, BOC renewal, Texas License reimbursement.  Candidates must be eligible for Texas State Licensure.  (This means anyone who has graduated from an accredited program after 2004 and is eligible for the BOC exam or anyone who has completed an internship program with 1800 contact hours and courses completed that are required to sit for the Texas State Licensure exam).  Candidates who are already BOC certified do not have to sit for the Texas State Licensure exam.   Individuals interested can apply via e-mail by including resume and three references.  Email resume and references to daniel.fuller@tsjh.org
