STAFF NURSE RN (PRN) – PREOP MAIN

Previous PREOP experience required.  Hours are 6:00am – 4:30pm. Department is open 5 days a week. NO weekends or holidays. Qualifications: current Texas license; Current ACLS or obtain ACLS within 6 months of employment.

 

INPATIENT CONCURRENT CODER (FT) – MEDICAL RECORDS

Needed fulltime inpatient concurrent coder, to review and code records daily.   Will need to utilizes advanced knowledge of specialty coding to analyze patient records, ensuring that documentation by providers conforms to legal and procedural requirements and ensuring that any vague or incomplete medical documentation is completed by the physician.   Help avoid retrospective physician coding queries.  This position will work closely with the Case Management Department in identifying the admission diagnosis and additional diagnoses during the patient’s hospitalization. Attends monthly revenue cycle meeting and monitors billing performances to ensure optimal reimbursement.  Minimum of 3 years inpatient coding required, CDI a plus.

 

SURGICAL TECH (FT) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

NEW POSITION.  Great salary and working conditions.   No weekends, no call and no Holidays.  Certification required.  Minimum 2 years recent scrub experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center.  Position is day hours, Monday-Friday.

 

MEDICAL ASSISTANT (FT FLOAT) – URGENT CARE

A medical assistant’s clinical duties include taking patients’ medical history, preparing each patient for exams, checking vital signs, informing patients of treatment procedures, and occasionally performing lab tests. The position will also provide coverage as needed at other Urgent Cares in Athens and Palestine. Minimum of one-year related experience in a healthcare facility. Certification preferred or must obtain within 1 year of employment. Must be able to work from 7am – 8pm rotating days during the week and rotating Saturdays.

 

STAFF NURSE OR RN (FT) OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

Progressive Outpatient Surgical Unit utilizing the shared governance model. Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience in a hospital or multi-specialty ASC required.  No weekends, no call and no holidays.  10-hour days.  Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current RN license to practice in the State of Texas. Current American Heart BLS certification and experience working as an OR RN required. ACLS will be required within 6 months of hire.

STAFF NURSE RN (PRN) – PreOp and PACU OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

PreOp and PACU PRN positions covering shifts working 4 days per week 10-hour shifts during the week..  No weekends, call, or holidays. Previous PreOp/PACU experience preferred or 2 year’s recent experience in ICU or ER.

 

SURGICAL TECH (PRN) – MAIN HOSPITAL 

Work in a state of the art facility.  Experience and certification required.  Position days M-F.  No scheduled weekends or holidays.
