HIM TECH (FT) – MEDICAL RECORDS

Responsible for the assembly of all in-patient and out-patient medical records.   Assists with faxing, filing, and scanning records.  Prints all records for external auditors.  Prioritizes, locates, pulls, assembles, analyzes charts for deficiencies, scans, electronically tracks.  Answers phones and assists patients with requested records and films.  Mon- Fri, 8-4:30

SCHEDULER (FT) – SURGERY MAIN HOSPITAL

Handles all incoming scheduling calls. Obtains preliminary scheduling information including procedures to be performed and projected length of cases. Adjust operating room schedule as appropriate or indicated. Communicates changes to surgeon’s offices and other as appropriate.  Follow up with scheduling contacts, nursing personnel, physicians and/or others to obtain missing information. Post add-on cases, to operating room schedule as required, and notify appropriate personnel to include business office. Enter post-op data into database including procedures, surgeons starting and ending times, cancellations and other related information.  Multi-tasking and effective communication are key.  At least 1 year of Operating Room Scheduling experience is desired.  Hours are four days a week, 6:30am – 5pm.

HOUSEKEEPER OPERATING ROOM (FT) 11am – 7:30pm MONDAY – FRIDAY 

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for environmental cleaning and disinfecting. This individual performs a variety of routine cleaning functions in assigned area to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. 

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read, write and follow instructions.
  • At least two to six months of experience as a housekeeper. Hospital experience in an operating room environment required.
  • Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks.
  • Possess the ability to perform routine repetitive cleaning of assigned patient rooms, offices, rest rooms and other areas.
  • Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition.
  • Possess the ability to perform periodic or situational duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

STAFF NURSE RN (PRN) – PACU DAY OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

The position is located at Texas Spine and Joint Hospital in Tyler, Texas.  Monday-Friday hours with no call, no weekends, and no holidays.  The position encompasses stage 1 and stage 2 recovery as well as discharge of post-operative and post procedure patients.  Qualifications: current Texas license; previous PACU, CCU or ASC experience; Current ACLS or obtain ACLS within 6 months of employment.  Must be able to interact with physician’s offices.

STAFF NURSE RN (PRN) –  PREOP OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

Previous PREOP experience required.  Hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm. NO weekends, call or holidays. Qualifications: current Texas license; Current ACLS or obtain ACLS within 6 months of employment.

CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH (FT) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

Great working conditions.   No weekends, no call and no Holidays.  CST Certification required.  Minimum 2 years recent scrub experience in a hospital or multispecialty ASC.  Position is day hours.  Employees work Monday-Friday and 10 hour shifts.

OPERATING ROOM HOUSEKEEPING AIDE (FT) – MAIN OR

At least 1 year OR housekeeping experience.  Hours are from 11am – 7:30pm Monday – Friday.  The housekeeper will perform according to established procedures a variety of environmental service duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition. The housekeeper will also perform according to the established procedures, standard terminal cleaning of the surgery department following the completion of surgeries for the day.  Ensures all OR suites are cleaned completely and rid of any biological matter or refuse from the day’s operations. Ensure all equipment and devices are thoroughly wiped down with clean cloths and disinfectants. These items include, but are not limited to, overhead lights, OR Tables, back tables, suction equipment, positioning equipment, and chairs/stools. Following all other cleaning, the floor will be mopped using a clean mop head and non-contaminated disinfectant solution. Ensure the Sterile Processing and Decontamination areas are clean by disinfecting scrub sinks, cleaning foot mats, and removing refuse.

STAFF NURSE RN (FT) – PREOP OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

Previous PREOP experience required.  Hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm. NO weekends, call or holidays. Qualifications: current Texas license; Current ACLS or obtain ACLS within 6 months of employment.

STAFF NURSE PACU RN (FT) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

Progressive Outpatient Surgical Unit utilizing the shared governance model. Minimum of 2 years recent ICU or PACU experience in a hospital or multi-specialty ASC required.  No weekends, no call and no holidays.  8-hour shifts.  Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current RN license to practice in the State of Texas. Current American Heart BLS certification with ACLS and PALS requirement within 6 months of hire.

PCT/CNA (FT) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

Must have previous CNA or PCT hospital experience.  M-F position 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.

PRECERTIFICATION/VERIFICATION (FT) – BUSINESS OFFICE

Full time fast paced Precertification/Verification position.  This position verifies all insurance coverage and authorizations prior to patients arrival.  Requires excellent computer skills as well as time management, communication skills, and multi-tasking.  Fast paced environment.  Monday through Friday 8:00am –4:30pm.  Experience with obtaining authorizations and understanding verification of benefits required.  Minimum one year medical experience in related field and high school diploma or GED required.

STERILE PROCESSING TECH (SPD TECH) (FT) – MAIN HOSPITAL

The sterile processing technician follows guidelines in areas of asepsis, instrumentation, sterilization techniques, record keeping, and inventory control of equipment.  Requires previous experience in a medical facility as a sterile processing tech. Current certification preferred.  If not certified, must obtain certification within 1 year.  Hours Monday – Friday 10am – 6:30pm.

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST (PRN) – MAIN OR

Looking for a Radiology SPECIALTY Tech-PRN
Exhibit competent age specific skills in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient needs before and during X-ray procedure.  Limited to medium C-Arm knowledge.  Associate degree in Radiologic Technology with ARRT in Radiology and licensed with the State of Texas.  Current CPR certification.  AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF SURGICAL X-RAY TECH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

ATHLETIC TRAINER KILGORE ISD (FT) – SPORTS MEDICINE 

Must be licensed as an Athletic Trainer or eligible for the AT License.  BSWTSJH is looking for an Athletic Trainer for  KILGORE ISD.  The individual will be working at a high school setting as a staff Athletic Trainer. All BSWTSJH athletic trainers collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, x-ray personal, and therapist.  Staff athletic trainers will be under the supervision of the school Athletic Director or Head Athletic Trainer along with the Director of Sports Medicine for Baylor Scott $ White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital.  Job requirements include care and prevention of athletic injury, rehabilitation, travel with high-risk sports, practice and game coverage, and training room management. This position is dedicated to the school and have minimal outside requirements. If work not related to the school is asked additional compensation will be added for that event.  Salary range between $56,000 – $75,000 depending on experience and degree level: included is health insurance, 401k, CEU allotment, BOC renewal, Texas License reimbursement. .

Certified Surgical Tech (CST) – FT Main Hospital

Work in a state-of-the-art facility. Experience and certification required. FT Monday – Friday day schedule.

RN Operating Room (PRN) – Main Hospital

Progressive Operating Room utilizing the shared governance model. Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience in a hospital or multi-specialty ASC required. No weekends and no holidays. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current RN license to practice in the State of Texas. Current American Heart BLS or ACLS certification and experience working as an OR RN required. ACLS within 6 months of hire.
