MT OR MLT (FT) – LABORATORY

This is a Generalist position in our full-service, Joint Commission accredited laboratory, performing testing in chemistry, hematology, transfusion services, coagulation, urinalysis, and limited microbiology.  The right candidate for this position must have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and work independently.  The hours are 9:30am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday with one weekend and one week of call per month, rotating holidays, and some flexibility in scheduling.  Phlebotomy experience is required.  Experience with Ortho Vitros and Orchard Harvest is a plus for this candidate.  Must be ASCP certified or equivalent with minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN CERTIFIED (FT)

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will be involved in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and record-keeping functions, all under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.  ACPE IV Certification required along with a minimum of 1 year IV mixing experience and 1 year hospital experience.

PRE-OP RN CLINICAL COORDINATOR (FT) – MAIN HOSPITAL

This position works under the direct supervision of the Director of Surgery.  The Pre-Op Clinical Coordinator has overall responsibility for the patient care services delivered to patients in the Pre-Op area and Pre-Op Clearance (SPA).  Ensures compliance in the designated clinical area with applicable state governing rules of practice, regulations, and OSHA standards.  Serves as a member of facility leadership.  Responsible for assisting in the monitoring of the departmental budget in the Pre-Op and SPA area.  Represents the department in the absence of the Director of Surgery.  Works with other clinical areas to maintain excellence in clinical practice.  Must be a licensed RN in the state of Texas, with ACLS or obtain within 30 days of hire.  A minimum of two years’ experience in an acute care setting as a Coordinator. 

REGISTERED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (PRN) 

RRT Respiratory Therapist – Under a physician’s order, therapists are responsible for evaluating patient needs, establishing treatment plans and providing treatments/services accordingly.  Requirements for the RRT Respiratory Therapist are: Graduate of a two or four year AMA approved Respiratory Care Program. Prior clinical experience in an acute care hospital required.  ICU experience preferred.  Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC.   Current RT Texas license and BLS required, ACLS required within 90 days of employment.   (12 hour days) Prefer flexibility for shifts either 7am – 7pm or 7am – 5pm depending on need.  Ability to take call if needed.

ADMITTING REPRESENTATIVE (PT)

Part-time position in our fast-paced Admitting Department.  Scheduled days will be Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM and may on occasion fill in on Tuesday or Friday if needed.  Primary duties are admitting patients which include gathering and entering patient and insurance data, having required documents signed, as well as discussing finances with the patient and collecting fees. This position will also cover the reception desk and the PBX as needed, greeting patients and answering all incoming phone calls. Requires excellent computer and customer service skills and be able to multitask under pressure. This candidate must have a professional appearance, be friendly and have a great phone voice and communication skills. One year of previous healthcare admitting experience required.

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST (PRN) – MAIN OR

Looking for a Radiology SPECIALTY Tech-PRN
Exhibit competent age specific skills in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient needs before and during X-ray procedure.  Limited to medium C-Arm knowledge.  Associate degree in Radiologic Technology with ARRT in Radiology and licensed with the State of Texas.  Current CPR certification.  AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF SURGICAL X-RAY TECH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

PRECERTIFICATION/VERIFICATION (FT) – BUSINESS OFFICE

Full time fast paced Precertification/Verification position.  This position verifies all insurance coverage and authorizations prior to patients arrival.  Requires excellent computer skills as well as time management, communication skills, and multi-tasking.  Fast paced environment.  Monday through Friday 8:00am –4:30pm.  Experience with obtaining authorizations and understanding verification of benefits required.  Minimum one year medical experience in related field and high school diploma or GED required.

ATHLETIC TRAINER KILGORE ISD (FT) – SPORTS MEDICINE 

Must be licensed as an Athletic Trainer or eligible for the AT License.  BSWTSJH is looking for an Athletic Trainer for  KILGORE ISD.  The individual will be working at a high school setting as a staff Athletic Trainer. All BSWTSJH athletic trainers collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, x-ray personal, and therapist.  Staff athletic trainers will be under the supervision of the school Athletic Director or Head Athletic Trainer along with the Director of Sports Medicine for Baylor Scott $ White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital.  Job requirements include care and prevention of athletic injury, rehabilitation, travel with high-risk sports, practice and game coverage, and training room management. This position is dedicated to the school and have minimal outside requirements. If work not related to the school is asked additional compensation will be added for that event.  Salary range between $56,000 – $75,000 depending on experience and degree level: included is health insurance, 401k, CEU allotment, BOC renewal, Texas License reimbursement. .

X-RAY RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST (FT)  – RADIOLOGY

Start in X-Ray and expand your skills! We’re seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team with a clear path to cross-train in CT and MRI. X-RAY Radiology Technologist (FT) – Outpatient Surgery Center

Join our collaborative OR team operating standard and mini-C-arm systems during surgical procedures. Certified Surgical Tech (CST) – FT Main Hospital

Work in a state-of-the-art facility. Experience and certification required. FT Monday – Friday day schedule.

RN Operating Room (PRN) – Main Hospital

Progressive Operating Room utilizing the shared governance model. Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience in a hospital or multi-specialty ASC required. No weekends and no holidays. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current RN license to practice in the State of Texas. Current American Heart BLS or ACLS certification and experience working as an OR RN required. ACLS within 6 months of hire.
