FINANCIAL COUNSELOR (FT)
One year minimum healthcare related experience with a high school diploma or equivalent required. We are looking for a highly motivated team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. This position will accurately estimate financial responsibilities for patients, communicate and implement financial arrangements in accordance with policy and procedure guidelines and communicate the financial plan with patients via phone or in office. Written and phone inquiries received from patients, attorneys, physician offices, etc. are expected to be responded to promptly, accurately, and courteously. Applicants must have a clear understanding of insurance verification in order to quote and collect copays, deductibles, down payments as required. Full time position. Monday through Friday. 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
PHLEBOTOMIST (FT)
Our Laboratory has an immediate opening for an experienced phlebotomist with excellent people skills. The hours for this Phlebotomy position are 9:30 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Availability to work occasional weekend shifts is a plus. Phlebotomy certification preferred and a minimum of one-year phlebotomy experience is required.
STAFF NURSE RN NIGHT (FT) – INPATIENT CARE UNIT
The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. The RN ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. Unit is open 24 hours 7 days a week. Staff self-schedule. Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. At least 1 year experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery, ICU experience strongly preferred. RN, current in the State of Texas. Current ACLS preferred or able to obtain within 6 months of hire. Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment. Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit. Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
HOUSEKEEPER (FT) 3pm – 11:30PM MONDAY – FRIDAY
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for environmental cleaning and disinfecting. This individual performs a variety of routine cleaning functions in assigned area to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Completion of high school education or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read, write and follow instructions. At least two to six months of experience as a housekeeper. Hospital experience preferred. Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks. Possess the ability to perform routine repetitive cleaning of assigned patient rooms, offices, rest rooms and other areas. Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition. Possess the ability to perform periodic or situational duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
HOUSEKEEPER (PRN) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for environmental cleaning and disinfecting. This individual performs a variety of routine cleaning functions in assigned area to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Facility is open Monday – Friday. Primary hours will be 3pm – 11:30pm as needed. Occasional day shift coverage may be needed.
PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (FT)
Texas Spine & Joint Hospital is looking for the right candidate to provide services that include helping visitors and guests make menu selections. You will be part of the caregiving team, responsible for patient safety and satisfaction goals by making sure meals are accurate and prepared correctly. At least 2 years’ experience of Culinary/Serving, especially in a healthcare or institutional setting. Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English. Basic computer and mathematical skills.
PHARMACIST (FT)
As a staff pharmacist, rotating weekly shifts are from 0600-1930 Monday thru Friday. One weekend per month of on call status is also required. Responsibilities include. Safely verify, prepare, and dispense medications for surgical patients in accordance with physician orders. Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal medication therapy throughout the perioperative process. Review orders for accuracy, interactions, and appropriate dosing. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and hospital policies. Support medication education and maintain proper inventory and storage. Experience: 1 year hospital required. ACPE IV Sterile Mixing certification required.
CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH (CST) FT -MAIN HOSPITAL
Work in a state of the art facility. Experience and certification required. FT Monday – Friday day schedule.
PATIENT ACCOUNT COLLECTOR (FT)
PATIENT ACCOUNT COLLECTOR is responsible for review, follow-up and collection of payments. Maintain insurance logs and payer trends. Hours are from 8-4:30pm or 7:30 – 4pm, (hours are somewhat flexible). High school diploma or equivalent with one year of healthcare experience required including familiarity with Medicare and insurance regulations.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (PRN) – BRAIN INJURY REHAB
New department. We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist to perform occupational therapy services to include OT evaluations/re-evaluations, OT treatments, completing appropriate documentation, ongoing communication with the Director of Brain Injury Rehabilitation and rehab staff. Prefer an OT with visual re-training therapy experience.
