SPEECH THERAPIST (PRN) – BRAIN INJURY REHAB

New department.  Works under the direction of the Director of Rehab and provides speech language pathology  services for individual SLP referrals and for referrals to the interdisciplinary brain injury rehabilitation programs.  This includes evaluating patient referrals, structuring, implementing, and progressing all SLP treatment plans, as appropriate with input from the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.  The SLP is expected to treat patients with TBI’s, and any acquired cognitive deficits, including CVA referrals.  The SLP should be skilled in treating patients with cognitive impairments, speech deficits, and swallowing deficits. This position must be held by a licensed speech language pathologist.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (PRN) – BRAIN INJURY REHAB

New department.  We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist to perform occupational therapy services to include OT evaluations/re-evaluations, OT treatments, completing appropriate documentation, ongoing communication with the Director of Brain Injury Rehabilitation and rehab staff.  Prefer an OT with visual re-training therapy experience.

STAFF NURSE (FT) – PAIN MANAGEMENT

We are looking for an experienced RN with a great personality…..If you have 2 years experience such as in Pain Management, PACU, GI Lab, Cath Lab and Telemetry, have good multitasking skills, able to work autonomously in a fast-paced specialized area with one on one patient care, send us your resume.  Monday through Friday. Flexible hours, 7am to 1830. 4 days a week.  We work in interventional spine treatment with enjoyable co-workers and physicians. 

HOUSEKEEPER (PRN) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER 

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for environmental cleaning and disinfecting. This individual performs a variety of routine cleaning functions in assigned area to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition.  Facility is open Monday – Friday.  Primary hours will be 3pm – 11:30pm as needed.  Occasional day shift coverage may be needed.  Completion of high school education or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read, write and follow instructions. At least two to six months of experience as an Environment Attendant. Hospital experience preferred.  Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks.

C.N.A. (PRN DAYS AND NIGHTS) – INPATIENT CARE UNIT

Looking for experienced C.N.A.- one opening to work nights and one position to work days.  Must have one year of hospital C.N.A. experience and must hold current C.N.A. certification. Requires current BLS or ability to obtain on first day of employment.  We self-schedule with guidelines.  Unit is open 7 days a week/ 24 hours a day.

STAFF NURSE RN DAY (FT) – INPATIENT CARE UNIT

The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.  The RN ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. Unit is open 24 hours 7 days a week.  Staff self-schedule. 

ADMITTING REPRESENTATIVE (PT)

Part-time position in our fast-paced Admitting Department.  Scheduled days will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM and may on occasion fill in on Wednesday or Friday if needed.  Primary duties are admitting patients which include gathering and entering patient and insurance data, having required documents signed, as well as discussing finances with the patient and collecting fees. This position will also cover the reception desk and the PBX as needed, greeting patients and answering all incoming phone calls. Requires excellent computer and customer service skills and be able to multitask under pressure. This candidate must have a professional appearance, be friendly and have a great phone voice and communication skills. One year of previous healthcare admitting experience required.

CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH (FT) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

Great working conditions.   No weekends, no call and no Holidays.  CST Certification required.  Minimum 2 years recent scrub experience in a hospital or multispecialty ASC.  Position is day hours.  Employees work Monday-Friday and 10 hour shifts.

STERILE PROCESSING TECH (SPD TECH) (FT) – MAIN HOSPITAL

The sterile processing technician follows guidelines in areas of asepsis, instrumentation, sterilization techniques, record keeping, and inventory control of equipment.  Requires previous experience in a medical facility as a sterile processing tech. Current certification preferred.  If not certified, must obtain certification within 1 year.  Hours Monday – Friday 10am – 6:30pm.

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST (PRN) – MAIN OR

Looking for a Radiology SPECIALTY Tech-PRN
Exhibit competent age specific skills in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient needs before and during X-ray procedure.  Limited to medium C-Arm knowledge.  Associate degree in Radiologic Technology with ARRT in Radiology and licensed with the State of Texas.  Current CPR certification.  AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF SURGICAL X-RAY TECH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

ATHLETIC TRAINER KILGORE ISD (FT) – SPORTS MEDICINE 

Must be licensed as an Athletic Trainer or eligible for the AT License.  BSWTSJH is looking for an Athletic Trainer for  KILGORE ISD.  The individual will be working at a high school setting as a staff Athletic Trainer. All BSWTSJH athletic trainers collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, x-ray personal, and therapist.  Staff athletic trainers will be under the supervision of the school Athletic Director or Head Athletic Trainer along with the Director of Sports Medicine for Baylor Scott $ White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital.  Job requirements include care and prevention of athletic injury, rehabilitation, travel with high-risk sports, practice and game coverage, and training room management. This position is dedicated to the school and have minimal outside requirements. If work not related to the school is asked additional compensation will be added for that event.  Salary range between $56,000 – $75,000 depending on experience and degree level: included is health insurance, 401k, CEU allotment, BOC renewal, Texas License reimbursement. .

RN Operating Room (PRN) – Main Hospital

Progressive Operating Room utilizing the shared governance model. Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience in a hospital or multi-specialty ASC required. No weekends and no holidays. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current RN license to practice in the State of Texas. Current American Heart BLS or ACLS certification and experience working as an OR RN required. ACLS within 6 months of hire.
