ANESTHESIA TECH (FT) – MAIN OR
We are so excited that our 2 new ORs will be opening soon. We are adding 2 teams to cover them. The ANESTHESIA TECH works under the direct supervision of the OR Clinical Director. It is his/her duty to provide the operating room personnel ancillary assistance in delivering quality patient care in the preoperative phase to minimize risks for the patient undergoing surgery. Updates and maintains logs and runs reports. High school certificate or equivalency, previous experience as OR Aide preferred, general computer skills, must have at least one year of hospital experience. Hours are from 10:00am – 6:30pm Monday – Friday.
HOUSEKEEPER OPERATING ROOM (FT) 4pm – 12:30AM MONDAY – FRIDAY
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for environmental cleaning and disinfecting. This individual performs a variety of routine cleaning functions in assigned area to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Completion of high school education or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read, write and follow instructions. At least two to six months of experience as a housekeeper. Hospital experience preferred. Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks. Possess the ability to perform routine repetitive cleaning of assigned patient rooms, offices, rest rooms and other areas. Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition. Possess the ability to perform periodic or situational duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
OPERATING ROOM AIDE (FT) – MAIN OR
The OR Aide works under the direct supervision of the OR Clinical Director. It is his/her duty to provide the operating room personnel ancillary assistance in delivering quality patient care in the preoperative phase to minimize risks for the patient undergoing surgery. Assist in setting up the surgical suite, cleans OR suites between cases, and maintains flash sterilization, Steris Chemical Sterilizer, medication refrigerator, and bone freezer tests and records daily. High school certificate or equivalency, previous experience as OR Aide preferred, general computer skills, must have at least one year of hospital experience.
RN PREOPERATIVE (FT) – MAIN
Current RN licensure in the State of Texas, CPR and ability to obtain ACLS certification within 6 months. One (1) year minimum experience required. Hours are 6:00am to 4:30pm or 5:15am to 3:30pm 4 days a week. Off weekends and Holidays.
RN OPERATING ROOM CIRCULATOR (FT) – MAIN HOSPITAL
We are so excited that our 2 new ORs will be opening soon. We are adding 2 teams to cover them. Progressive Operating Room utilizing the shared governess model. Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience in a hospital or multi specialty ASC required. No weekends and no holidays. Required to be in call rotation. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current RN license to practice in the State of Texas. Current American Heart ACLS certification and experience working as an OR RN required. ACLS within 6 months of hire if not current.
STAFF NURSE (FT) – PACU MAIN HOSPITAL
Monday-Friday position. The position encompasses stage 1 and stage2 recovery as well as discharge of post-operative and post procedure patients. Qualifications: current Texas license; previous PACU, CCU or ASC experience; Current ACLS or obtain ACLS within 6 months of employment. Day position M-F with alternating call.
STAFF NURSE RN (PT) – DAY SURGICAL PREP
The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. The RN ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. At least 6 months experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit. RN, current in the State of Texas. Current ACLS preferred or able to obtain within 6 months of hire. Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.. Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit. Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

THREE ATHLETIC TRAINERS: NEW DIANA HIGH SCHOOL (FT), WHITEHOUSE HIGH SCHOOL (FT), AND SABINE HIGH SCHOOL (FT) – SPORTS MEDICINE
Must be licensed as an Athletic Trainer or eligible for the AT License. BSWTSJH is looking for three Athletic Trainers. One for New Diana High School, one for Whitehouse High School and one for Sabine High School. The individuals will be working at a high school setting as a staff Athletic Trainer. All BSWTSJH athletic trainers collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, x-ray personal, and therapist. Staff athletic trainers will be under the supervision of the school Athletic Director or Head Athletic Trainer along with the Director of Sports Medicine for Baylor Scott $ White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital. Job requirements include care and prevention of athletic injury, rehabilitation, travel with high-risk sports, practice and game coverage, and training room management. This position is dedicated to the school and have minimal outside requirements. If work not related to the school is asked additional compensation will be added for that event. Salary range between $56,000 – $75,000 depending on experience and degree level: included is health insurance, 401k, CEU allotment, BOC renewal, Texas License reimbursement. Candidates must be eligible for Texas State Licensure. (This means anyone who has graduated from an accredited program after 2004 and is eligible for the BOC exam or anyone who has completed an internship program with 1800 contact hours and courses completed that are required to sit for the Texas State Licensure exam). STAFF NURSE (PRN) – PAIN MANAGEMENT

STAFF NURSE PREOP RN (FT) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER
Previous PREOP experience required. Hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm. NO weekends, call or holidays. Qualifications: current Texas license; Current ACLS or obtain ACLS within 6 months of employment.
MLT/MT (PRN) – LABORATORY
Our laboratory has a need to supplement its coverage, and this is a great opportunity to use your skills in our full-service hospital laboratory. We are Joint Commission accredited, performing testing in chemistry, hematology, transfusion services, coagulation, urinalysis, and limited microbiology. The right candidate for this position must have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and work independently. Phlebotomy experience is a must. Experience with Ortho Vitros and Orchard Harvest is a plus for this candidate. Must be ASCP certified MLT/MT or equivalent with minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory. The hours on the weekend are from 5am to 9am. The employee will need to cover call one week per month. On-call starts on Monday, ends Sunday. The employee who is on call during the weekday, works the weekend and takes the call. On-call time starts at 6pm to 5am on weekdays.
