PHLEBOTOMIST (FT) – LAB
Our Laboratory has an immediate opening for an experienced phlebotomist with excellent people skills. The hours for this Phlebotomy position are 9:30 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Availability to work occasional weekend shifts is a plus. Phlebotomy certification preferred and a minimum of one-year phlebotomy experience is required.
ATHLETIC TRAINER WHITE OAK HIGH SCHOOL (FT) – SPORTS MEDICINE
Must be licensed as an Athletic Trainer or eligible for the AT License. BSWTSJH is looking for an Athletic Trainer for WHITE OAK High School. The individual will be working at a high school setting as a staff Athletic Trainer. All BSWTSJH athletic trainers collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, x-ray personal, and therapist. Staff athletic trainers will be under the supervision of the school Athletic Director or Head Athletic Trainer along with the Director of Sports Medicine for Baylor Scott $ White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital. Job requirements include care and prevention of athletic injury, rehabilitation, travel with high-risk sports, practice and game coverage, and training room management. This position is dedicated to the school and have minimal outside requirements. If work not related to the school is asked additional compensation will be added for that event. Salary range between $56,000 – $75,000 depending on experience and degree level: included is health insurance, 401k, CEU allotment, BOC renewal, Texas License reimbursement.
STAFF NURSE RN (PRN-2 DAYS A WEEK) – DAY SURGICAL PREP/PREOP
This position will work in Surgical Prep and PreOp 2 days a week during the day. The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. The RN ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. At least 6 months experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit. RN, current in the State of Texas Current ACLS preferred or able to obtain within 6 months of hire. Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment. Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit. Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
RN OPERATING ROOM CIRCULATOR (FT) – MAIN HOSPITAL
Progressive Operating Room utilizing the shared governess model. Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience in a hospital or multi specialty ASC required. No weekends and no holidays. Required to be in call rotation. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current RN license to practice in the State of Texas. Current American Heart ACLS certification and experience working as an OR RN required. ACLS within 6 months of hire if not current.
COOK – (FT)
Texas Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking a skilled Cook. We are looking for a responsible, dedicated person who can cook great food in a timely manner. You will be cooking for our patients, visitors, and staff via our Café and patient care. With attention to detail for accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, grilling, and presenting a variety of hot and/or cold food items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Special/Catered Events. At least 3 years of cooking experience or in a similar culinary role is preferred, especially in a healthcare or institutional setting. Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, sautéing, etc.). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure. Must be able to rotate weekend shifts.

MLT/MT (PRN) – LABORATORY
Our laboratory has a need to supplement its coverage, and this is a great opportunity to use your skills in our full-service hospital laboratory. We are Joint Commission accredited, performing testing in chemistry, hematology, transfusion services, coagulation, urinalysis, and limited microbiology. The right candidate for this position must have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and work independently. Phlebotomy experience is a must. Experience with Ortho Vitros and Orchard Harvest is a plus for this candidate. Must be ASCP certified MLT/MT or equivalent with minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory. The hours on the weekend are from 5am to 9am. The employee will need to cover call one week per month. On-call starts on Monday, ends Sunday. The employee who is on call during the weekday, works the weekend and takes the call. On-call time starts at 6pm to 5am on weekdays.

Work in a state of the art facility. Experience and certification required. PRN position will be for days.
