STAFF NURSE RN NIGHT (FT) – INPATIENT CARE UNIT
STAFF NURSE RN FT NIGHT TEXAS SPINE & JOINT HOSPITAL TYLER, TEXAS The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. The RN ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. Unit is open 24 hours 7 days a week. Staff self-schedule. Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. At least 1 year experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery, ICU experience strongly preferred. RN, current in the State of Texas. Current ACLS preferred or able to obtain within 6 months of hire. Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment. Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit. Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
PATIENT ACCOUNT COLLECTOR (FT)
Patient Account Collector is responsible for review, follow-up, and collection of Insurance payments. Maintain insurance logs, identify payer trends, appeal claim denials, identify over/under payments, and make necessary telephone calls. Must be able to use Excel spreadsheets. Hours are Monday- Friday from 8-4:30pm or 7:30 – 4pm. (hours are somewhat flexible). High school diploma, or equivalent with one year of healthcare experience required including familiarity with Medicare, HIPPA and insurance regulations. Commercial insurance knowledge is a plus.
RN PREOPERATIVE (PRN) – MAIN
Current RN licensure in the State of Texas, CPR and ability to obtain ACLS certification within 6 months. One (1) year minimum experience required. Must be able to work 2 days a week.
MEDICAL RECORDS TECH (FT) – HIM
Looking for an experience HIM tech to work M-F 8-4:30. Responsibilities include assembly of all in-patient and out-patient medical records. Assists with faxing, filing, and scanning records. Prioritizes, locates, pulls, assembles, analyzes charts for deficiencies, scans, electronically tracks and sees to appropriate transport of records requested by other departments in accordance with established policies and procedures.
IT SYSTEMS ADMIN I (FT)
The IT Systems Admin I is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring smooth operation and efficient resolution of issues related to hardware, software, networks, and user access. This role involves proactive planning, troubleshooting user issues, and coordinating with external vendors for system upgrades and migrations. Required Skills and Qualifications: 1 Year work experience in Information Technology, strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems, familiarity with Telecom and faxing systems, proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, familiarity with backup systems and disaster recovery processes, excellent communication skills for user support and vendor collaboration, and ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic healthcare environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with healthcare IT systems and protocols, certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent, and experience in managing Active Directory and remote access solutions. Pay range is $45,000 to $55,000 based on experience. This position is NOT remote and will be included in the on-call rotation that might require in-person assistant.
FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PA (FT M-F DAY)
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (PA/NP) at Texas Spine & Joint Hospital in Tyler, Texas. The NP/PA will be working in a clinical setting, the Surgical Preoperative Area (SPA), providing optimization of patients prior to elective surgical procedures. Strong internal medicine background required. The PA/NP would have the opportunity, if desired, to also provide post-operative care for inpatients and a low volume emergency room. The PA/NP will act under the authority and supervision of the attending physician and in accordance with all regulations, hospital policy, protocols and clinical pathways. Must hold a current Texas advance practice nursing license or physician assistant license, current BLS and ACLS certification or the ability to obtain these within 90 days upon hire. The PA/NP applicant will have a minimum 1-year recent hospital and/or urgent care experience. Minimum 2-years’ experience preferred.

STERILE PROCESSING TECH (SPD TECH) (FT) – MAIN
The sterile processing technician follows guidelines in areas of asepsis, instrumentation, sterilization techniques, record keeping, and inventory control of equipment. Requires previous experience in a medical facility as a sterile processing tech. Current certification preferred. If not certified, must obtain certification within 1 year. Hours Monday – Friday.
ATHLETIC TRAINER TRINITY VALLEY (FT) – SPORTS MEDICINE
BSWTSJH is looking for an Athletic Trainer for Trinity Valley Community College. Individual will be working at a college setting as a staff Athletic Trainer. All BSWTSJH athletic trainers collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, x-ray personal, and therapist. Staff athletic trainers will be under the supervision of the school Athletic Director or Head Athletic Trainer along with the Director of Sports Medicine for Baylor Scott $ White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital. Job requirements include care and prevention of athletic injury, rehabilitation, travel with high-risk sports, practice and game coverage, and training room management. This position is dedicated to the school and have minimal outside requirements. If work not related to the school is asked additional compensation will be added for that event. Salary range between $56,000 – $75,000 depending on experience and degree level: included is health insurance, 401k, CEU allotment, BOC renewal, Texas License reimbursement.
