RN PREOPERATIVE (PRN) – MAIN 

Current RN licensure in the State of Texas, CPR and ability to obtain ACLS certification within 6 months.  One (1) year minimum experience required.  Must be able to work 2 days a week.

 

SCHEDULER (FT) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER 

Handles all incoming scheduling calls. Obtains preliminary scheduling information including procedures to be performed and projected length of cases. Adjust operating room schedule as appropriate or indicated. Communicates changes to surgeon’s offices and other as appropriate.  Additional areas of focus are accurate and timely charge entry and maintenance of the preference card database.  Must be detail oriented.  Medical terminology preferred. Follow up with scheduling contacts, nursing personnel, physicians and/or others to obtain missing information. Post add-on cases, to operating room schedule as required, and notify appropriate personnel to include business office. Enter post-op data into database including procedures, surgeons starting and ending times, cancellations and other related information.  Multi-tasking and effective communication are key.  At least 1 year of Operating Room Scheduling experience is desired.

 

ADMITTING REPRESENTATIVE (FT) 

Full time position in our fast paced Admitting Department.  Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Primary duties are admitting patients which include gathering and entering patient and insurance data, having required documents signed, as well as discussing finances with the patient and collecting fees. Requires excellent computer and customer service skills and be able to multitask under pressure. This candidate must have a professional appearance, be friendly and have a great phone voice and communication skills. This position will cover the Reception desk and the PBX as needed, greeting patients and answering all incoming phone calls. One year of previous healthcare admitting experience preferred.

 

RN PREOP (FT) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

Progressive Outpatient Surgical Unit utilizing the shared governance model. Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience in a hospital or multi-specialty ASC required.  No weekends, no call and no holidays.  10-hour days.  Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current RN license to practice in the State of Texas. Current American Heart BLS certification and experience working as an OR RN required. ACLS will be required within 6 months of hire.  Hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm.

 

PRECERTIFICATION/VERIFICATION (FT) – BUSINESS OFFICE 

Full time fast paced Precertification/Verification position.  This position verifies all insurance coverage and authorizations prior to patients arrival.  Requires excellent computer skills as well as time management, communication skills, and multi-tasking.  Fast paced environment.  Monday through Friday 8:00am –4:30pm.  Experience with obtaining authorizations and understanding verification of benefits required.  Minimum one year medical experience in related field and high school diploma or GED required.

 

RN OPERATING ROOM CIRCULATOR (FT) – MAIN HOSPITAL

ATHLETIC TRAINER WHITE OAK HIGH SCHOOL (FT) SPORTS MEDICINE

Must be licensed as an Athletic Trainer or eligible for the AT License.  BSWTSJH is looking for an Athletic Trainer for  WHITE OAK High School.  The individual will be working at a high school setting as a staff Athletic Trainer. All BSWTSJH athletic trainers collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, x-ray personal, and therapist.  Staff athletic trainers will be under the supervision of the school Athletic Director or Head Athletic Trainer along with the Director of Sports Medicine for Baylor Scott $ White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital.  Job requirements include care and prevention of athletic injury, rehabilitation, travel with high-risk sports, practice and game coverage, and training room management. This position is dedicated to the school and have minimal outside requirements. If work not related to the school is asked additional compensation will be added for that event.  Salary range between $56,000 – $75,000 depending on experience and degree level: included is health insurance, 401k, CEU allotment, BOC renewal, Texas License reimbursement.

MLT/MT (PRN) – LABORATORY

Our laboratory has a need to supplement its coverage, and this is a great opportunity to use your skills in our full-service hospital laboratory. We are Joint Commission accredited, performing testing in chemistry, hematology, transfusion services, coagulation, urinalysis, and limited microbiology. The right candidate for this position must have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and work independently.  Phlebotomy experience is a must.  Experience with Ortho Vitros and Orchard Harvest is a plus for this candidate.  Must be ASCP certified MLT/MT or equivalent with minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory.  The hours on the weekend are from 5am to 9am. The employee will need to cover call one week per month. On-call starts on Monday, ends Sunday. The employee who is on call during the weekday, works the weekend and takes the call. On-call time starts at 6pm to 5am on weekdays.

 

SURGICAL TECH (PRN) – OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER 

Work in a state of the art facility.  Experience and certification required.  PRN position will be for days.
