Claire Tibiletti, M.D. specializes in chronic pain management and interventional spine procedures. Her interests include the non-surgical treatment of spine disorders. She is one of the founding members of the International Spinal Injection Society. She was a speaker at the recent annual meeting for the International Spinal Injection Society in February 2002. Dr. Tibiletti is the immediate past President of the 2000+ member International Spine Injection Society (ISIS). “Living with back pain is one of the most difficult problems a person can face. No one can see or feel the pain you have. My goal is to determine the precise cause of the pain and offer treatment to minimize the pain and maximize function.”

Degrees and Education
Dr. Tibiletti received her medical degree (M.D.) in 1982 from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. She graduated Cum Laude with her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas in 1977. Dr. Tibiletti graduated with her Master’s in Health Care Management from Harvard University, School of Public Health in 2001. She interned in general surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas from 1982 – 1983. Tibiletti completed her residency in General Surgery at Baylor University medical Center from 1984 – 1985.

Claire Tibiletti, M.D. is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the Smith County Medical Society, the Society of Baylor Surgeons, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, the North American Spine Society, the International Spinal Injection Society and the International Intradiscal Society. Her licensure is from the state of Texas.
