J. Stuart Crutchfield, M.D., FACS is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Crutchfield specializes in brain, spinal and peripheral nerve surgery.

Degrees and Education
Dr. Crutchfield received his medical degree (M.D.) in 1988 from Baylor College of Medicine. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Baylor University. He interned in General Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine from 1988 – 1989. His fellowship was in Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine from 1989 – 1994.

Awards and Appointments
J. Stuart Crutchfield, M.D., FACS was on the Dean’s Distinguished List for Academic Achievement from 1980 – 1984. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Baylor University. Crutchfield also graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from Baylor College of Medicine. He belongs to the memberships of Mother Frances Hospital, East Texas Medical Center and Tyler Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Crutchfield also has memberships to the American Medical Association, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American Board of Neurological Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Texas Medical Association and the Smith County Medical Society. His licensure is from the state of Texas
