Patrick Wupperman, M.D. is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon. Patrick has extensive training in complex shoulder and knee problems with a special interest in Autologous Cartilage Implantation. Patrick specializes in arthroscopic shoulder surgery, complex shoulder problems, ACL & PCL reconstruction, elbow arthroscopy & reconstruction, articular cartilage restoration, meniscal repairs and allografts, shoulder and elbow injuries in throwing athletes.

Degrees and Education
Dr. Wupperman received his medical degree (M.D.) in 2000 from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Houston, Texas. He interned in General Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee from 2000 – 2001. Patrick completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee from 2001 – 2005. His fellowship was in Sports Medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute from 2005 – 2006.

Patrick Wupperman, M.D. is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the American Medical Association. His licensure is from the states of Tennessee and Alabama.
